Our client is a growing boutique public relations firm in the B2B technology arena. They are looking to hire VP for their management team. This role is a pivotal position as it oversees all of the operations and account management. This individual will serve as a mentor, manager and lead example for all account teams on client management, quality assurance, staff development and strategic guidance. The Vice President will also be involved in new business development, operational leadership and product/services development.
They are seeking an individual who has exceptional leadership capabilities, a strong work ethic and a passion for public relations and most importantly social media.
Job Responsibilities:
Account Management Lead; Assure all account activities meet the standard of excellence
Cultivate positive relationships with client executives
Key Contributor to Business Development
Assure agency's visibility into C-suite by maintaining open dialogue, steady stream of interviews, etc.
General Requirements:
Experience in leading technology professional PR services account teams.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media concepts and platforms (required) and currently use social media or lead projects in social media on behalf of clients (preferred).
8+ years public agency leadership experience
Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism or related field
